§ 1-2. Power of commission to pay expenses of census commissioners

  • (a) Whenever the governor of the state shall appoint commissioners to determine the number of inhabitants of the seventeenth judicial circuit under § 26.011, F.S., and any amendments thereto, the Board of County Commissioners of Broward County is authorized and empowered to pay reasonable expenses necessarily incurred by any such commissioners in determining the number of inhabitants of Broward County.

    (b) Any such payments heretofore made by said board of county commissioners are ratified, authorized, confirmed and approved.

    (c) It is hereby declared that the payment of said necessary expenses as herein provided is a county purpose.
